Bidding For a Non-Fungible Winehouse
With cover star status in the July 2021 edition of MOJO, Amy Winehouse lives on. There is also now an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) to add to her online presence.
NFTs of artworks are similar to autographs. The unique identity and ownership of an NFT is proven through the blockchain. The new July 2021 celebration of Amy Winehouse also celebrates her debut in the world of Non-Fungible tokens. So, if you never had the chance to obtain Amy’s signature in the real world, you can now see what happens when the legend meets the latest.
The Amy Winehouse Foundation
The Amy Winehouse Foundation and MusiCares have announced a one-of-a-kind NFT (non-fungible token) from photographer Charles Moriarty with visual artist Mark Palkoski to benefit both organizations in an auction on May 18th.
The Back to Amy Livestream and Exhibition
This NFT is part of the “Back to Amy” exhibit and livestream, which will be presented live on July 23rd, 2021 (the 10th anniversary of Winehouse’s passing) and will feature tributes from other artists, with details to come.
